For the very first time – September has been named National Yoga Month! As I am already convinced that more people practicing yoga means a better planet for us all – no matter what religion, creed, race, age, ability, sex, weight…none of it matters. We’d all be a more peaceful happy and loving people. It is truly difficult to think mean, hateful, or small thoughts when you are happy. Happiness is certainly the best side effect of yoga – the fact that your body thanks you every moment is a direct effect of movement and breath linked so closely that you realize that everything everywhere must only work in harmony with all else.
Try yoga this month at a participating yoga studio, and add something worthwhile to your day. You won’t be sorry!
